CTVrede operates an inland container terminal. On behalf of clients, it hauls containers from Rotterdam to end customers (around the CTVrede inland terminal in Zaandam, known as the Hoogtij site). Competition is stiff, so for CTVrede it’s essential that container haulage and related communication are as efficient as possible. Kodify tackled the task of automating the process of distributing and delivering data to customers.
The operations department spends 20% less time on processing bookings. This represents a massive saving for CTVrede.
- Linking to legacy systems
- Automatic reading in of CSV. The CSV files were often compiled manually, so had to be thoroughly checked prior to reading in
- Keeping track of modifications: filtering out modifications so that these could be manually processed
- API’s with restrictions
- Bulk data
The (efficient) integration of customer data demands customer participation, In the case of CTVrede, this participation was laborious at times. The problem was eventually solved when higher management was convinced to actively assist in the integration of the links.
